I found this wild plum tree on a walk with my wife and dog. It is completely loaded on September 1st. The plums were pretty small, but with a distinctive delicious flavor. Yellow in color. I didn't see a single plum underneath the tree, which makes me think this Asian plum will provide food for weeks. This greatly stretches out the season. I think I"m going to go back in the winter to gather some scions. The branch shot out from near the soil through this fence, which makes me think that it is a natural wild selection. My mouth is already watering.
