Where can I get whips or maidens with no branches for espalier near the Vancouver, Wa area? I am quite specific about the varieties. I am looking for apples: Liberty, Dayton, Goldrush and Greensleeves. I would like them on either m-26 or m-27 rootstock. I tried raintree and tsugawa's without any luck. I do not feel ready to graft my own.

Welcome to the community. Now let us all reply in chorus, "Come to the Scion Exchange on March 6!" If you'd like to be ready to graft your own, register for one of the grafting workshops on February 20. Calendar at [url:137p0bx6]http://www.homeorchardsociety.org/events/[/url:137p0bx6]

The grafting classes really do make it easy. I grafted for the first time last year, and it isn't too bad.

But if you come to scion exchange, you can also pay $5 or so and someone will graft it for you!

Jennifer,
Try One Green World and Hartman's. Also, we have a bunch of little trees left that we grafted last spring to sell at the All About Fruit Show, there may be a liberty among them, call me and I can check.
They will be available at The Fruit Propagation.

I've been very pleased with the trees we bought for our espalier. I ordered from One Green World, Raintree, and had a couple grafted at the HOS scion fair. All are doing very well.

Thank you everyone. I ended up purchasing my whips from Burnt Ridge Nursery. As a side note, the owner was wonderful, very knowledgable. Unfortunately, I have a family reunion the same time as the scion fair :( , but I'm super excited for the next one. Also, I decided to take the grafting class. Thanks again!!!!
