When does Spring Pome News go out?

I sent an email inquiry to the HOS but got no response.

I joined at the Scion Exchange and got the Winter issue on the spot. I've been looking forward to getting the Spring issue in the mail but, if the timing is anything like other periodicals, it should have long been here by now.

Has the Spring edition gone out already?

Hi Jafarj,

Well, I have not got mine yet, so don't worry too much. I do know that it is probably at the printer, as I got a copy via email a few days ago.

I'm afraid the Pome News does not follow typical publications times very well, but its worth it when you get it! 8)

Damn, I joined at the scion exchange and didn't get the winter issue. I must have gotten there later. Been starting to wonder if anyone realizes that I actually (at long last) am a member.

Hi Everybody:
This is Ted Swensen, editor of Pome News. Just prior to sending it to Will Newman who puts it into prinable form myh computor CRASHED. Once I had what data that could be retreived it was rewritten and "should be in the mail."
Sorry for the delay and backup your data!

I sympathize about the crash. That sounds terrible, having to recreate articles. That brings me back 15 years to college.

I'm glad to hear I haven't missed out yet. I don't mind waiting, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being overlooked, and I was curious as to when it comes out since it is new to me.

Is there any way for members to access prior issues? Do I have to visit the HOS library to see them?

They used to have a guy who gave away old issues to members free of charge or for like 10 cents each at the Fall and Spring issues. I don't know if he's still going to be there.

I got mine today! Its official, I feel like a genuine HOS member now :)

Its funny, it is such a nice convenient size that I find it very convenient to tote around so that I'll have something to read if I find myself someplace where I need to kill some time.

For that reason I don't want to read it so I can "save it" for such an occasion. Knowing me, I'll probably lose it or something before that time comes.
