There appears to be two apple varieties with the same name.
Viking: Introduced in South Dakota 1925, as a selection from Scandinavian scions. Some sources say this one is named Vicking, but others say Viking.
Viking: PRI joint release, Wisconsin 1969.
I grafted a scion labeled Viking, but I don't know which one it was. It has not yet fruited. When it does fruit I would like to be able to tell.
