I've been trying unsuccessfully to locate a SPICE apple tree (not crabapple) which is grown by Draper Girls nursury in Parkdale. Any suggestions?

Sounds like they sell fruit but not trees from this apple variety and you'd like to find a tree of your own?

Do you think it may be Colvis Spice? It's a bud sport (mutation) from Golden Delicious: You can see some pictures here: https://fogholloworchards.com/.....apple.html

Maple Valley offers a few varieties with "Spice" in their name: https://maplevalleyorchards.co.....on=product

Thanks! Everything on the Maple Valley website is sold out, but it looks like it's a great lead, and maybe they will become available soon.

I have a variety called Cinnamon Spice. I have never heard of one just called, "Spice".

Hi,

Like everybody else here, I've never heard of a Spice. Could you please post a picture of this mystery apple? Maybe give some more details about color, season, etc. I'd like to know what it is, too.

I did a quick search over at Pomiferous, and they have a couple dozen different varieties with Spice in the name.
