I have some extra Anna and a male hardy kiwi cuttings, both dormant (well, the green is starting to show), and some that are actively growing. My guess is that there are abundant supplies of both at the fruit propagation fair. How do you guys know whether or not to bring your cuttings to the fair? It seems like most of the cuttings are supplied by a few people, but I have no idea of how the inner workings of the fruit propagation fair work.
Also, how do you make sure you don't spread diseases to everyone? I guess you dip your cuttings in diluted bleach or something like that? Not that I've heard of any hardy kiwi diseases. Just curious if there was a memo I missed.
Sometimes it seems like the fruit propagation fair works by magic. I haven't been able to volunteer yet, but I hope to start one of these years (when my daughter gets older I think it will be easier). I know it's a lot of work by the people involved, and I just really want to thank you all for putting it on. It's the highlight of this fruit geek's spring. See you all there!
If I do show up a little early, is there any way I can help set up?
Oh, and a request: if your handle on this forum is really different than your actual name, can you put it on your nametag? I'd love to meet some of yall in person, but may not even realize I'm passing you at the fair.

See you tomorrow.
