I was really looking forward to the fair to get some root stock.  Does anyone know where I can get some.  Looking for Bud9 or Geneva 935.  Advice would be appricated.

One Green World has sold some before.  Also, you could probably try to contact Tonia, and she may be willing to make an individual sale, even if she won't host a meeting for 250 people.

Getting to Tonya with her scrambling to come up with any possible solutions to the event cancellation would be a real burden right now. Through the grapevine I was told those that were not enlisted on the volunteer list are going to have to stay posted for further information by monitoring this site and for volunteers our emails.

In years past when I would go to the fair to volunteer I would always become so lost upstairs talking to people for hours that I would forget what rootstocks to get. Then about 2 weeks after the fair I would find Tonya a bit more relaxed enough to negotiate my purchases. I would suggest you do the same and also note the hours of operation at the HOS managed mini-stockpile of apple rootstocks which (years past) took a couple weeks later to get there. A map is published for directions to the HOS garden as well.

If you want in lots of 50 or 100, Willamette Nurseries in Canby has Bud 9.

Raintree has Bud-9 on sale.  I have a bad memory but I think it's around $4.

I think M9 is a really good dwarf and the better proven apple root in the same size category as B9. The good news is that the HOS lists 150 M9s for sale.

Thanks everyone.  I was really feeling the crunch to get to grafting before it is too late.  I have my own variety I call Stafford (Road side toss) that is worm resistant and has really nice white centers with mottled red/green skin.  Its an early variety as well.
