I would like to plant a pomegranate. Any suggestions on variety? Would I need to grow it in a pot? I'd appreciate your help. Thanks.

This largely depends on where you live. If you live on the wet side of the PNW, your heat units will be low. Wall of water may help. I've "grown" Wonderful for years. It has died back to the ground but come back. Never fruited, although I have met HOS members whose fruit every year. Drainage, sun and heat are key here. Some varieties, like Eversweet, I think, are geared for "coastal" environments. I am intrigued by growing them here.

I would love to hear your results.
