I just found this interesting forum and now I have a problem.
I just had the backyard stripped of years of blackberry growth and now I have a yard full of dirt that doesn't drain well. but then it never did. How do I go about fixing this? I thought of just seeding it with clover and spading it in before it bloom and then re-seeding in the hopes there would be an improvement next Spring. Any ideas what I should do to make decent soil? Or is the solution just bring in topsoil.
cheers
Ruth
