Hello! I have an apple tree on my property and I do not know what variety the apples are. I moved to this property about a year ago. It is outside of Creswell, in Lane county.
the apple tree grows green apples that have some red streaking on them. The apples are sweet and tasty to eat but do not seem to have a firm flesh that would hold up to cooking. The tree has been neglected for years and has scab and other problems. I am attaching a picture of some of the apples with a dollar bill for scale to help and see if anyone can tell me what kind of apples they are. the tree also does have some larger apples, about twice the size of the ones in the photo, but I don't have any right ones right now that are that size. it does seem that the tree is mostly ripe right now.
I also hope to get some more trees in the future to get a nice orchard going. I am a beginner so it is nice to find a group like this. I hope someone can help answer my questions about the tree that I already have.
