I noticed that my Northstar pie cherry and Montmorency pie cherry are getting ripe. This is about 1 month before they usually ripen. However, my sweet cherry tree, which normally ripens with it, is a long way off. I also noticed that my pineapple guava is flowering now, when it usually flowers in July. Is anyone else noticing early flowering or ripening this year?

absolutely...one Eastern Washington grower thinks his crop is three weeks early this year.

From what I see here in the Seattle area I would say two weeks early for many of the crops.

Look to be able to buy some decent local home-grown cherries right about now.
