Thanks for the upload.  Hilarious!  Nothing like watching a severe extrovert get a dose of some pain that they brought upon themselves!  Oh, the price of fame!  ....Some real nice close-ups of the hornet, though.

Personally, I'm content just to watch the insects around me, most of the time merely going about their daily business and not bothering anyone else (--which is to say, humans,... not other insects).  I see no need to harass them and incite them to fight back.  That being said, I sure hope that efforts to eliminate the "Murder Hornet" (--attention-grabbing news media nickname--) from the Pacific Northwest are successful.  Thankfully, my wife and I moved from southern California before the "Killer Bees"  (i.e., Africanized Apis mellifera) got well-established there.
