Does it damage an aluminum ladder to leave it out in the rain, or should I keep it covered?
Thanks

Should be OK, unless you're near the sea. I hear aluminum corrodes in a salty environment.

I found this information on a web site named keytometals-dot-com:

Most aluminum alloys have excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion (often called weathering), and in many outdoor applications, such alloys do not require shelter, protective coatings or maintenance.

You should be fine with your ladder exposed, although I do store mine in a shed.

I'll let you know this summer.

I've had 2 of them out there all winter. At least lay them down.
