It was 3 days ago I mashed one SWD above the kitchen sink after supper. My latest theory is that with the green urban roll-cart recycling that includes food scraps, varying degrees of internal warmth, and lids ajar, breeding can go on around the calendar.

All home-grown fruit outside the house has been gone for weeks.

Good point about recycling scraps. I didn't even think about that. We probably need to make sure that our bins close tightly. I don't know if that will be good enough.
