A 2011 WSU patent and description of a complex acid structure (baba) that when applied to fruit tree flowers prior to emerging will protect the developing fruit. I would like to see it tested in our area, for example protecting freezes on apricots that are not sheltered from cold rain events at the HOS gardens in Canby Oregon.
