Welcome new members and posters: to cut down on spam newly registered posts remain in a moderators queue until they are OK'ed by the forum administrator or moderators.

With a steady stream of advertisements and unrelated posts it is possible to accidentally disapprove a legitimate post. If this happens to you, please try again, keeping in mind, our administrator and moderators wade through this stuff so you won't have to.

A personal request: it's very helpful when answering fruit growing questions if we know your basic location; I list my county and state. If you'd care to update your Profile to add a location, after logging on, click on your User Control Panel at the upper left of the page. In the Options box on the left side, click on Profile. In the Edit Profile box to the right you may enter a location. Remember to hit the Submit button below and you're done.

Though there are other options, please note that this information may be viewable to other members. Be careful when including any personal details.

and, welcome aboard 8)

Hi Katherine,
We do have meetings: there is a scion exchange coming up on Sunday. Actually it's a full blown fruit propagation fair. We also have the ALL about fruit show in the fall, budding workshop/fruit tasting in the summer, tours, grafting classes, pruning classes, and many other activities during the year. Check out the Pome News with your membership.
Thanks,
John S
