I recently moved to a home in West Linn OR - there is an apple tree backed against the fence, on a hillside with dense Ivy all around. So - it is difficult to reach the tree.
It has been tossing apples into the ivy and rolling some down onto the yard below. It appears to have apple scab. Some of the apples are small and ruined, others are OK enough to cut away the brown spots. They are quite crisp and tasty, not tart. All I can say in the way of description is they are yellow, some with a slight blush.
Any management suggestions?
