The short andwwer is yes. The long answer is do not graft or select a low vigor variety for ulta– min– or super dwarf rootstock (I wish the rootstock pelople would settle on a name). You could also use an M.9 rootstock.
Yes for support and of course irrigation.
If you live in cold environment, suggest B.9 or P sereis rootstocks for cold hardiness.
