I've got my best crop so far on my small Thornley tree. I found one on the ground so I brought it in and put in the fridge. I'll take it out after a few days and see if it softens. I did a tilt test on others and they stayed put so I left them.
My gut tells me September sometime.

Well, this is embarrassing. It is Taylor's Gold that had dropped, and I found a few more on the ground, plus got another from a semi aggressive tilt test. And this is the first time its fruited for me so I don't have a precident.
It's a sport of Comice so perhaps timing may be similar. My place is a little behind Vancouver and Portland being a little elevated and unpaved.
OSU extension says September for both Taylor's gold and Comice apparently.
