
From another forum, one of the guys used bridal veil material, also called tulle. Wrapped it around the fruit as it was turning color, and had no ill effects. It seemed to work really well. In addition, it seems you could move it around your garden after the harvest to another plant while it turns color and ripens through harvest. Another truly great, blue-collar, strange, and organic solution.

I am trying a couple different nets on it......and (if I get the time) some Spinosad spray.
I found places in the Seattle area that will sell GF 120 NF Naturalyte Cherry Fruit fly bait, but they generally cater to farmers and not to local people....you have to buy it in huge quantities right now....(a gallon works for a couple acres and is way too much for the homeowner).
Hopefully that will change...and it will become more available to homeowners.
