I am looking forward to one of my favorite events, the Scion Exchange next weekend, and I was wondering if Ted or anyone else knows who some of the speakers are going to be? We often try to plan our day out there around catching some of our favorite speakers and topics.

I was told that there are no speakers at the Scion Exchange this year. I have no idea why, but that's what I was told. 
So I guess you will just have to collect even more scions <!-- s

Strange, but (I think) we've had more years than not without speakers? Grafting, I'd count on some of their presentations for a 'lull in the action' … but so badly wanted to listen to each of them... By volunteering at these events – you might end up eating dinner with several wouldbe speakers.
If nothing else, just talk with anyone behind a table, many are likely the most knowledgeable Home Orchardists in the state! And keep that rootstock coming!
