Strange, but (I think) we've had more years than not without speakers? Grafting, I'd count on some of their presentations for a 'lull in the action' … but so badly wanted to listen to each of them... By volunteering at these events – you might end up eating dinner with several wouldbe speakers.

If nothing else, just talk with anyone behind a table, many are likely the most knowledgeable Home Orchardists in the state! And keep that rootstock coming!
