SOO I have this apple dream.....

I am looking for some good info and sources for BUD 9 rootstock. I have a hill on my lot in Menomonie Wisconsin that I have a dream of someday having a bunch of flowering apple trees on. The hill slopes east to west with a slight taper to the south. My thought is to graft 25 trees a year for the next 3 years. I have a sprinkler system that I would run a bubbler to each tree. Any advice would be appreciated.

Start grafting this year to get good at it. You'll get better at it every year.

Check the soil, and amend it to where it is 1/2 way in between the best soil you could imagine for that tree and what you've got all around it.
