Hello, I have been a member of HOS on and off for the last 15 years. My husband retired this summer. I would like to be semi retired. I'm posting our info where ever there is a possibility of a younger than me farmer with the skills and energy required to farm and take to market. We have a long term farm worker and myself doing everything, or not, as sometimes happens. We intend to continue living on the property, retaining the trees and fenced gardens around our home.
The land is 100% organic and has been since 2003. We had organic certification for one year and let it go, though as it was explained to me, it is easily re obtained. There is a second home on the property, 1300 square feet, which could be leased to a farmer. In addition, there is a full hookup Tiny Home/ RV space on the land.
Our land is on Prune hill, just ten minutes from the Camas Farmer's market and twenty minutes from the Vancouver Farmer's market. There is a Natural Grocer's market just 10 minutes from here. First time this year their all organic produce section featured produce from a local organic farmer.
There is a barn on our land which could also be available for lease. We are on Camas city water and sewer. The more traditional such as apple, blueberries, crabapple, quince, and pears were planted in the 1940's, while the less traditional, including raspberries, figs, persimmons and kiwis were planted in the last fifteen years.
If you know anyone who may be interested or other organizations where my posting might find the right connections, please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Dorothy K.

Hello all, I am really confused by this forum. I see why I never got a response, as there are responses here in the forum. I can't figure out how to respond to the individuals that responded to me, so will respond here. Apologies if this clutters up the forum. My email address is sunshineflowersandfruit@comcast.net if anyone wants to contact me outside the forum.
If anyone wants to point me in the right direction of how to answer individual posts in the forum, I would appreciate that.
Thank you,
Dorothy Krahn
