I notice that the newest recommendation for saving scion wood is to use damp cedar shavings (as in pet bedding) in the refrigerator. Would this do for cold treatment of pawpaw seeds or does cedar inhibit seed maturing.

I think it would probably work. Mine have germinated exclusively in the ground. If they dry out they definitely won't grow.
