Scion cuttings from last week of February

hi. 

First of all I am glad to have found this forum and thanks for being able to participate. 

My qustion: is it too late to obtain cuttings for scions this week in the Portland area? I have some plums and apples I hope to graft but missed getting cuttings in January.

Apples should still be OK, plums a bit further along.  Look for tight-budded, upright water shoots on the shady sides of each tree.
