Selling a hand crank cider press that has been restored. It was originally built in the 1970's from a kit. All surfaces that touch apples or juice have been renewed/replaced, and stainless steel hardware used. New maple used for the basket and some old growth fir for the press tray. I am selling this unit due to the fact that I now have a larger press for the orchard I planted on my property. This unit will work well for a tree or two up to several dozen. You can produce 4-8 gallons per hour at a reasonable pace. If you are really working at it with juicy apples, myself and a friend have put out over 10 gallons in an hour. $300. A great family project that will yeild a wonderful product you can enjoy the rest of the year (easy to freeze or can the juice). I would love for this to go to a happy home and be used this fall. This will fit in the back of most sized cars like a subaru wagon or I might be able to deliver if we work something out. Can be used to crush and press grapes as well.
