Let's get together and get cooking! Any of you who live close enough to Portland, let me know if you are interested in sharing ideas about refreshments and/or volunteering in the food booth at HOS events. (Fruit Propagation Fair and All About Fruit Show)
Being new to the HOS, we may be interested in helping with events, and we always enjoy refreshments and deserts containing fruit (pies, tarts). We live very close to the arboretum so meetings centered there would be no problem. We have not been to any of your events and have not been successful in visiting the Arboretum.

The board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (except December) at Tigard Christian Church at 7:00pm. Members are welcome to attend. We probably can't have home-baked goods at our events because of Food Safety regulations, but I was hoping to get together with a few folks and work on ideas for food and snacks at our main events, the All About Fruit Show in the fall and the Fruit Propagation Fair in the spring.
