Here’s some of the first stuff up on a search: http://www.keepers-nursery.co.uk/search ... ?id=COXORP
It’s ‘British,’ so a lot of obscure varieties are listed...
Here’s something with regard to the Cox Orange: “They are in the mid season category and can cross pollinate with most other apple trees, as long as they do not flower very early or very late.â€
…your question’s looking ‘better’ all the time Personally, the best ‘mid-season’ pollinator I know is a “Yellow (or ‘Golden’) Delicious.†My tree appears to be self-fertile, with a mid-period bloom that should work with the COP – and, it’s one of my favorite apples.
Any other suggestions..?

I've had good results with a limb of Liberty grafted on my Cox's Orange Pippin tree.

Thank you very much for your replies to both of my questions. In my orchard the cox orange pippin is the last to bloom and I think this is why it does'nt bear much fruit. I have two liberty apple trees next to two cox orange pippins. The orchard has twenty different varieties and also some bee hives. I liked the idea of grafting another late blooming variety onto the cox. Maybe I'll also try spraying a bee attractant on these trees.
