Pistachio in Washington??

Hello,

I am interested in a Pistachio (Pistacia vera) on One Green World's website. However, the Sunset zone information listed in the website's product description leads me to believe that I may not have enough heat units to ripen the nuts. I am located in Rochester WA - north of Centralia but south of Olympia - FDA zone 7-ish, Sunset 4-5 ish. The description has a bottom Sunset zone threshhold of 7.

Has anyone in WA been able to ripen fruit? Or, am I just a zone busting fool? :?

Thanks,

Pistachio needs a very hot, dry climate to grow. OGW doesn't tell you that they planted pistachios on their grounds that grew no more than one INCH per year and succumbed to disease after a few years.
