I have two. Coolidge sailed through with no problems. I also have a seedling, which I actually like better than coolidge, but it was damaged rather badly this winter. It still has some leaves and I'm hoping it will come back to health.
Did anyone else have pineapple guava damage?

My old single plant and other seen in SE Portland are largely defoliated.
Leaf burn starts in mid-20s and teens will result in much leaf drop, usually
a gradual process. My 10,000+ leaf bush is down to fewer than 1,000 leaves.
Leaves on newer growth tend to hang on better.
My plant has never failed to leaf back out, looking good by 1 June.
If bloom is delayed past 1 July, fruit may not set well or ripen that year.
