The varieties from Peterson Pawpaw, http://www.petersonpawpaws.com.....oducts.php, are said to have fewer seeds, ranging from 3%-8% by weight. I have one of each in the ground but no fruit as yet.

I've corresponded with Neal a little bit.
For the last several years he's been selling out a year or so in advance and up until recently he has been the only source for his purportedly superior varieties that draw rave reviews. There are now at least two nurseries that are licensed to propogate his varieties so they should become much more available.
I haven't heard of anybody who has grown his varieties in the NW. If any of you are out there, please speak up.
I'm currently trying Allegheny and Shenandoah because he says those two are the earliest ripening of his selections. I figure those will give me the best chance of getting ripe fruit. I'm still a few years away from finding out.
