Hi
I have a 3 year old 5-1 apple tree. It has grown like a weed since its planting. (10' now) It has flowered but no apples. I live in North Port,Fl about 60 miles North of Fort Myers. Is there any hope of this producing apples? Also what other type of apple tree might I try that will produce apples? The 5-1 does not tell me what type of apples just 5-1. I bought it online. Any help would be great!

I'm guessing your 5-in-one has Anna, Dorsett Golden, Fuji, Ein Shemer, and Beverly Hills grafted onto it. Multi-grafts do quite poorly in warm climates, even though individually all these varieties will do fine there.
You actually have a wide range of apples that will fruit just fine there. Because of disease issues, I'd go with William's Pride and Liberty to start with. If you're used to spraying, Dorsett Golden, Princess Nobel, Fuji, Gala, Rome Beauty, Pink Lady, and Gold Rush can all really take the heat.
Don't let anybody tell you apples won't grow there. They do just fine down in Miami.
