New guy here who needs help to ID this crabapple tree that used to be in our front yard until the mice girdled it one winter about 8 years ago.The apples were red/pink all the way through, and it made great jelly. I've looked all over the web but have not come up with anything. When ever we plant anything we keep the tags for later ID but the tag for this tree came up missing. Here's a link to pics of the tree and apples.Any input is appreciated http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i299/ ... rabapples/

Not the same apple at all, but Wickson Crabapple keeps getting mentioned as outstanding flavor. I had it on my list of trees to buy after noticing several people raving about it. Then I looked it up and discovered it is a crabapple, so it came back off my list.
If you can't find a pink one, consider it as a back up.
