marmorated stink bugs on cherries in SE PDX

As I was working on my cherry tree this past week, I noticed several brown marmorated stink bugs on the fruit. I also saw them on my peaches which have footies on them. In past years, I have seen a few on my raspberries at times but they never seemed to do any significant damage that I could see. Has anyone else encountered the marmorated stink bug and had problems with them?

I had one on my pawpaw last year. I didn't realize it at first. I wondered why I couldn't kill it. Then I realized it was an armored deviant. I finally killed it and haven't seen many since.
It is said that they are increasing in our area.
