Looking for [hard] cider apples

If you have any apples that would be good for making cider, I am interested in them. In particular, I am looking for apples or crab apples that contain tannin, which gives a kind of drying out sensation to the mouth. I have access to plenty of farmstead apples, but apples with tannin are eluding me. I am willing to pay for them.

Thanks,

I have never added tannin powder to cider, but winemakers do it on a home basis (sold in home brew shops). I don't see why that would not work for you if you cannot find the right apples.

Good luck.

Some have added aronia berries in their place. They are also full of vitamin C and antioxidants.
