I know that Nick Botner has an excellent reputation as a fruit expert.

I'd like to hear about experiences people have had with buying fruit trees from him. Since he has no web presence, there isn't any information.

Do trees have to be picked up in Yoncalla? Does he have a large selection of varieties?

Thanks

I've never bought from him, but I have met him.

As far as I understand, he has one of the largest apple tree collections in the world. I believe he has thousands of varieties.

I'll let other people respond to the rest!

Nick is a nice fellow and an enthusiastic collector. Just be sure you check identities of what you get from him as he seems to have a number of mislabled varieties.

I have been pleased with buying scions from him. You have to use snail mail, but he can send you a paper catalogue. He has one of the most extraordinary collections on Earth.
