Does anyone know if the heritage apple orchard at the Howell Territorial Park on Sauvie Island is ever open for a tour and tasting opportunity?
I believe the OR Historical Society no longer has a Harvest Festival there where I once had a very enlightening experience learning about old varieties.
Any new info?
THanks,
MEgan

Just go to the bridge, go 1 mile north, and turn right on Howell Park Rd. You are now in the park and it's public.
This might work too:

Did you read the rules for that place under "picnic reservations" in the link? Geez!!
I wouldn't want to be there. About the last line is that picking fruit from the historical orchard is not permitted.
