How much should a tree be srpayed?

I will be using copper and sulphur.Should it just be coated or dripping wet?

Also should the trunk be sprayed to the ground? They are newish trees about 8 feet tall.

Ideally it shouldn't be sprayed at all unless you know what symptoms you are trying to control.

They should be sprayed all the way to the ground, trunk and all, if that is where you are observing symptoms. Otherwise, no spray at all.

I used to spray lime-sulfur for peach curl, and would add something like dish soap to get it to cover better. Without soap, it seemed to bead up and not spread out.

Thanks. Been trying to grow apples for 3 years and the trees just get diseased. The leaves fall out for the most part and no apples. So guess it is fungus type problems that need spraying.
