I decided to use the word knitting so I could tell my wife I am working on knitting. I know that the connection process starts immediately when the sap is flowing. What about when things are dormant?

Nice video Lon. I think I grafted some 'apricot' apple scionwood from you last year. I think that is what you called it. It is growing nicely on my pear tree, attached to a winter banana graft.

Even though ‘dormant’ the cells are alive and I suspect, if in slow motion, they immediately begin to coordinate growth, or knit. If not, they'll just sit there in a temporary stasis until warming up to whatever temperature activates growth and eventual ‘sap’ flow. …but the way-ai-ting is the hard -est - part 8)
