Today I received my rootstock for the interstem grafting I plan to do. Should I store it in refridgerator and wait till later or just go ahead and graft now? This is apples I am talking about.

…Greg, I’d hold off. If all’s dormant, you might as well take advantage of that… No reason to let it burst buds as early as everything else out there – it can still get plenty cold – and I assume even colder up your way :?

Thanks Viron. That's what I was thinking. Everything is way too far advanced here. I did get a new Tina grafting knife I am dying to try. I did play with some earlier grafting a week or 2 ago and those have buds swelling which is amazing to me.
