I've heard of people using a limestone based fungicide made fron household cleaning powders like Bon Ami, has anyone else ever heard of or tried this? I guess you just mix a certain amount of it with water, but I can't really find anything out there about this specific method.

Here is a fungicide recipe I came across in one of my books. It doesn't contain Bon Ami, but it looks interesting enough. The recipe calls for: 1/2 cup molasses, 1/2 cup powdered milk, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 gallon water. Mix the molasses, powdered milk, and baking soda into a paste. Place the mixture into the toe of an old nylon stocking, and let it seep in a gallon of warm water for several hours. Then strain, and use the liquid as a fungus-fighting spray every 2 weeks throughout the growing season.
I haven't tried this yet, so I can't comment on its effectiveness.
If anyone does try this, please post your results.
