I suspect there may be a mechanism or button that allows a forum user to contact another without email or phone numbers becoming top page public information; or for continuing a conversation, not necessarily of interest to the general population.
For example I'm hoping to ask for pawpaw scion wood or budwood from nearby, if any respond it would be nice to be able to email or phone details to facilitate an exchange. Is there something I must do in my user profile to allow for additional communication. I see an illusion to a private message (system?) but don't really see how that access might be allowed, or if it is in deed a part of the infrastructure. Thanks
Well, I now see, in the user control panel the option to check off "registered users may email me", and from another discussion topic, I find that an enabled email button brings up a blind email form. That works for me. A side discussion could ensue if/as necessary.
