Just curious about the accuracy of forum counters for posts, views, and replies.

 

The "Posts" totals do not +1 increase for any one member making multiple replies to a topic;

the total does not increase even for a member posting on different topics a week apart

(John S, total=2577 on different topics a week apart).

I have not looked closely at the view and the reply counts, but the counters math is probably in one area of the overall coding.

Now my Posts counter did +1 from prior general topics to the above Suggestion post.

I see what is going on; upon the next forum visit, the latest count is displayed in every post.

So all posts by an individual in any one topic have the same count.

Never mind!
