Downhill, the #1 server administrator(s) usually grants passwords for #2 moderator(s), in turn both these levels can delete objectionable posts, or such as, self serving advertising.
We #3 members whom are granted a read/write access. I am unsure if also by invoking communications via the currently active green "Contact" label at top if we can write up to #1 and/or #2?
I do know that contact page fire-walled for server safety just as the write access inside forums posts. Upon testing other ways of contacting Idyllwild as (me) #3 that no firewall exists, but why not?
Seems like a loophole that needs to be cured.
I also see as a #3 very many people newly listed as (us) #3 members that never write which is a little mysterious. Maybe they forget the passwords(?) More feedback from the community (ie. survey) of newly registered guests, if possible, would be appreciated.
Idea: Place the green contact form page access towards "guests".
The one thing that I was wondering about was: If the HOS ceases to exist, what would the Forum itself be called in order to be easily identifiable as to its purpose....
However, I must say that Rooney's post certainly has posed much more important and salient questions than I would ever have come up with.
Given how riven the Internet is with mischief, I bow to Rooney's questions.
Reinettes.
