Pages hang in the loading so-o-o long it's quite off putting. Much of the time, after serious waiting, there will be a message: the server has too much traffic or something...try later. What's the deal? Are we overrun with AI bots mining for information/sources creating the traffic jam, or what?

If the page does happen to load or a log in actually occurs, the next selected topic window is sure to processi in a similar fashion, ...s-l-o-w and maybe.

Using a safari browser version 18.6 on a Mac OS 15.6.1 if that has anything to do with it.

Thinking, I have a lot of tolerance, and I get close to clicking away. Figure a lot of folks may have not near that amount of tolerance toward the loading 'problems' and just leave, what a loss! Probably we lose incoming experiential expertise, and outgoing, the opportunity to share that what we have to share.

Might be it got better for a minute and then back to the same old... Are anyones working on it, or aware even of the problem, or has every one who knows about such things just clicked away to enjoy other sites?

There is something wrong with the "Drag the xxxx into the circle" captcha. When I drag the image, it floats way above the circle, thus I am unable to save my post. If I click/fiddle with it for a while, it sometimes goes a bit lower, enough for me to save. But I bet most people aren't doing that. I'm using Chrome 133.0.6943.60.

Also several times now I haven't been able to save because I put the topic name in the topic description field. Having the topic name greyed out really throws me off when I'm not reading carefully.

Who devoted and mastered the 'unanswered topics' section at the top should make some additional changes for us. For example if we deem it important to escape new bots or potentially troublesome 'off-topic posters' (another after midnight), then another tag at the top should be created as 'screening box for new posters' as sort of a screening box where new applicants can apply to us before we agree they have something useful to us as a forum of 'fruit tree favoring like people'.

'unanswered topics' (created several years ago my moderators as a better way to help answer questions)

'screening box for new posters' (for a resume IE. 'where are you on other forums or what do you like')

This screening should be enough to 'scare' the bots away for a couple more years.

I've noticed here that some of the spammy new posters have taken to generating posts that incorporate information from a previous post. That makes it harder to single them out.
