If you are local and would like one or more fig trees...

1) Desert King.

2) Longue D' Aout. When it was in a big pot it produced adequately, with good flavor, but the hole that opened up for it turned out to be cursed.

3) Lampiera. The figs it produces are large and very tasty, but very few in number, and they ripen late if they even make it. For somebody that has a lot of space, or is OK with a mostly ornamental fig, it might be satisfactory.

#1 and #2 are in ground but will not be much trouble to dig out. #3 is in a 20 gallon cloth pot. None are very large, though certainly bigger than those generally available at a garden center.

quokka - it's kind of you to offer, and I hope that someone has adopted your figs.  I unfortunately live too far away, or I would have.
