I'm looking to find someplace to buy some good fruit to eat. Feel free to add other posts with your requests.

Gold Rush apples that are yellow or better

Rojo Brilliante persimmons (I think I got some from Costco last year, although it may have been a grocer)

They sell really good Gold Rush apples at Portland Farmer's Market at PSU. They could probably tell you the name of the farm. They were $3/lb a few years ago but high quality and organic.

Maybe you are the one who told me. I had heard that from someone but was beginning to think I'd imagined it.

Doesn't the market end in the fall though?

Portland Fruit & Produce on SE 80th & Foster has a good supply of discount fruit, plus honey,

dehydrated veggie chips, dried fruit. Their golden kiwis were lowest price in SE Portland.

There is a west-side location also.

Albeke Farms not far from CCC above Oregon City has excellent u-pick Boysens.

July. $2-something per pound.

Fubon Market on SE 82nd has some off-beat fruit varieties in season.

I wasn't impressed with Rubinette Market in the Provedore grocery on SE Sandy Blvd.

Sheridan Fruit Company on MLK has a wide variety of fruit, nuts, and uncommon veggies.
