I’ve been digging up crowded clumps of daffodil bulbs and calla lilies in the yard and starting new plantings. I planted a 30’ row with bulbs 3” apart. I enjoy seeing the bright daffodil blossoms in early March all over the yard when I look out the window.  I planted several bulbs along the boulevard and road ditch in front of my house over the last few years and passersby have commented how they enjoy them. Some of the flowers get picked by kids as they pass but I don’t mind.

I like that low cost, natural way of cheering up the neighborhood.  Connects you with the seasons as well.  I've done that with my daffodils, too, but I don't have as many as you do.
