11:00 - Tonia Lordy, Introduction to Integrated Pest Management in the Orchard
Tonia is the Manager of the HOS Arboretum, a 1.6 acre Demonstration Garden on the Grounds of Clackamas Community College. She is constantly assessing individual plants for health, suitability to our climate, and quality of fruit. What a wonderful resource we have in Tonia.
12:30 - Joseph Postman, Oregon's Best Kept Secret.....
Joseph is the curator for pears and pome fruits at the USDA Germplasm Repository in Corvallis, Oregon's Best Kept Secret. He will share his curator's choice of personal favorite pears and touch on his recent trip to South Korea.
2:00 - Glen Andresen, Flowers to Honey
Glen is a permaculture expert and enthusiast, backyard bee keeper and under the Moniker "The Dirtbag" hosts a radio show on KBOO. He will share his love of bees and how your garden and orchard need bees to thrive.

11:30 - Jim Gilbert, Unique & Unusual Fruits
Learn about kiwis, figs, pawpaws, persimmons and many other exciting and delicious fruit we can grow in our region. Jim has been growing interesting varieties of fruit in the Northwest for over 30 years. He is the founder and co-owner of One Green World nursery, which grows and ships fruiting plants to home gardeners throughout the US. He has traveled extensively in the former Soviet Union and other exotic places, bringing back a large selection of fruiting plants for Northwest gardeners.
1:00 - Jerry Shroyer and John Saltveit, Figs, Persimmons, and Grapes
Long-time HOS officers and board members, Jerry and John have manned the Advice Table at the HOS shows for many years, expertly answering all your fruit tree questions. They also teach grafting and budding classes.
