I've seen this before but have no idea what it means???
From Pome News, Winter 09, On the calendar, January, Fruit Tree Specific: mid -January, second spray (copper [at least 50% or not effective]

If the copper spray does not contain at least 50% copper it will not be effective as a fungicide. Be aware that the EU has discontinued the use of copper as an organic fungicide.....it will eventally happen in the US.

Thanks for getting back to me Ted. I guess I should have phrased my question a little differently. What I was really after is how to measure when I have a 50% solution.

I ran into a lilly miller rep when I was buying some copper and he told me that polysul is going to be discontinued also. Apparently enviormental legislation according to him.
